The Kosher plum pálinka is manufactured in accordance with Jewish traditions. The entire process of pálinka making, from fruit harvesting to bottling, is supervised by a religious inspector from the Orthodox Jewish Community and the Orthodox Union to ensure that the process meets the strict hygiene standards.

The Kosher bottles still in use today, were originally filled with holy water from the area of Mount Carmel in Israel, believed to hold the secret to a long and healthy life. In Hungary, the Kosher bottle appeared around 1945, and since then, only such bottles have been used for Kosher pálinka. Today, this bottle shape is protected.

Zwack Kosher is made from selected quality ripe plums in one of Hungary’s most modern distilleries, the Zwack Pálinka Manufactory. One liter of Kosher plum pálinka is a distillate of 4.6 kg of fresh Hungarian plum.

The term 'kosher' indicates that the pálinka is produced using a technology and materials controlled and approved by a religious inspector from the Orthodox Jewish Community.

Today, Zwack Kosher pálinka is one of the leading players in the premium pálinka market.
